PDA기능도 좋고 인터페이스도 좋고 다 좋지만 두가지 이유때문에 방출했다.

첫째는 부실한 전화기능. 아무리 PDA폰이라도 전화기인 이상 전화를 걸고 받는데 아무런 문제가 없어야 하는데 아이폰은 일반전화기에 비해 전파를 잡는 능력이 떨어진다. 특히 우리집에서는 다른 전화는 멀쩡하게 되는데 아이폰만 안되니 아이폰만 믿고 있다 전화를 못받는일이 많이 벌어졌다.

둘째는 밧데리 문제. 이 밧데리가 처음에는 괜찮지만 좀 사용하다 보면 전화를 많이 하거나 음악을 좀 들으면 밧데리 용량이 부족해 진다. 그렇다고 여분의 밧데리를 가지고 바꿔줄 수도 없는 구조이다 보니 좀 그렇다. 특히 무선인터넷을 사용하면 밧데리가 금방 닳는다.

그래서 아이폰을 방출했다. 전화기인 이상 전화기능에 충실하고 그 이외의 것이 뒷받침되어야지 이놈의 아이폰은 기본기가 부족한 전화기다. 겉멋들어 뽐내기에는 좋지만...

오페라 9.52 정식버전이 발표된지 몇일 되지 않았는데 오페라 개발팀에서는 다시 9.60 장정에 돌입했군요.

이번 버전에서 달라진 점은 다음과 같습니다.

Custom search engines and typed history* are now joining bookmarks, speed dials, personal bar, and notes in Opera Link.

 

Feed Preview
Now you can preview an RSS/Atom feed before subscribing.

 

Opera Mail: Low Bandwidth Mode
Low Bandwidth Mode is a setting on mail accounts that makes Opera Mail use as little bandwidth as possible. For IMAP, this means that Opera will only synchronise new messages and it will not fetch message attachments unless requested. For POP, Opera will not fetch more than the first 100 lines of a message unless requested.

 

Opera Mail: Follow/Ignore threads and contacts
Follow and Ignore are new features for users that receive a lot of messages. It makes it easier to dismiss unimportant messages and easier to recognise important messages.

 

Opera Mail: Go To Thread
You can now also "Go to thread" which means that you can view only the messages from that thread. Useful for those that uses flat view.

중관춘에 갈 일이 있어서 간김에 HP의 PMD(Pocket Media Drive) 120기가를 구입했습니다.

크기도 작고 집에 있는 컴퓨터에 이미 PMD 장치가 장착되어 있기 때문에 사용하기에 너무 편합니다. 지금 있는 이동형하드는 모두 정리하고 PMD로 교체해야겠습니다.

컴퓨터에 장착하면 위의 사진처럼 본체내로 쏘옥 들어갑니다.

일년만에 다시 Windows Live Writer를 깔아서 사용해 보았습니다. 지금 이글도 Windows Live Writer를 이용해서 작성중입니다.

지난해에 티스토리에서 사용할때는 그리 편리하다는 생각을 못했는데 지금 텍스트큐브닷컴에 글을 올리다 보니 텍스트큐브닷컴에서 지원하는 편집기 보다 오히려 Windows Live Writer가 더 편리하지 않나 생각듭니다. 물론 mp3를 올린다거나 할때는 아직도 텍스트큐브닷컴에서 지원하는 편집기가 더 편리할 수도 있겠습니다.

제 생각에는 텍스트큐브닷컴에서 힘들게 편집기를 개발할게 아니라 차라리 Windows Live Writer에 플러그인 기능으로 텍스트큐브닷컴에 필요한 기능을 삽입시키는 방향으로 개발되어도 괜찮지 않나 생각합니다.

하나의 블로그툴에서 모든것을 다 할수 있는것도 나쁘지는 않지만 외부환경을 이용할 부분은 이용하고 자신의 장점을 극대화 시키는 방향으로 개발력을 집중하는게 좋다고 생각합니다.

Windows Live Writer 이외에도 텍스트큐브닷컴과 궁합이 잘맞는 편집기가 있다면 트랙백이나 댓글로 알려주십시오.

오늘(아니 한국시간으로는 어제) HP기사가 와서 하드디스크를 교체해 주고 갔습니다. 원래 달려있던 하드디스크는 씨게이트 제품이었는데 교체한 하드는 히다찌¹ 의 Deskstar 제품으로 바뀌었습니다.

하드를 교체하면서 다시 중문 윈도우비스타를 깔아줘서 그걸 사용중입니다. 다른 하드에는 윈도우XP 깔아놓은것을 그대로 둬서 유사시 필요할 때 사용할 예정입니다. 컴퓨터 시작할때 부팅 하드를 바꿔주면 비스타, 윈도우 XP 둘다 사용가능합니다. 그렇지만 비스타만 주로 사용할 가능성이 많습니다.

하드를 새로 포맷하거나 운영체제를 바꾸게 되면 백업해 둔 자료를 옮기는데 시간이 서너시간은 족히 걸리는것 같습니다.

시간 허비하지 않게 이번에 바꾼 하드디스크는 향후 일년정도는 원활하게 잘 돌아갔으면 좋겠습니다. 운영체제 설치하는것은 별 문제가 아닌데 자료 백업하기가 너무 귀찮네요. 앞으로 PMD ² 를 구입해서 자료를 분류별로 나눠서 담아둘 생각입니다.

제가 컴퓨터에 하드를 추가하면서 sata선이 필요해서 구입하려고 중국사이트를 돌아다니가 발견한 sata선을 깔끔하게 정리하는 법입니다. (출처 : 既简单又实用! 轻松改造完美SATA布线)

먼저 컴퓨터에 sata선을 설치할때 아래와 같이 설치를 하게 됩니다. 대기업 PC등은 sata선등이 필요한 최단거리만큼만 설치되어져 있어 깔끔합니다만 조립하거나 새로 하드웨어를 추가할때는 깔끔하게 만들기가 쉽지 않습니다.

필요한 도구는 일반볼펜과 같은 필기구만 있으면 됩니다.
